MR. NICHOLAS KABASO
Lusaka Securities Exchange Plc, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nicholas Kabaso is the Chief Executive Officer for the Lusaka Securities Exchange Plc in Zambia and the immediate past President for the Capital Markets Association of Zambia. He is an experienced Corporate Executive with a wealth of business acumen in commercial, operational, fund and financial management experience, in banking and capital markets. He has working experiences in various markets having worked in Zambia, Mozambique, South Africa and Namibia. He has vast retail, business, corporate and investment banking experience and has led several successful business turnarounds. He is also an experienced investment manager who managed one of Zambia’s largest mutual funds and has several Board representations.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Statistics and an MBA in Finance. Notably, he is a Fellow in Business and Entrepreneurship and a graduate of the Mandela Washington Fellowship Program from Clark Atlanta University, USA. It is suffice to note that Mr. Kabaso is a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments (CISI).
